I found this post considerably interesting…especially since you are one of the godmothers of my daughter…I guess I would expect you’d still at least consider me to be your child’s when you have one. Ouch.
And you know, distance doesn’t come between best friends. Just because someone you care about (I’m going to assume that you once considered me your best friend before this post) lives far away and doesn’t get to see you doesn’t mean they don’t still love you and care about you and will be there at a drop of a hat to help you out when you’re in trouble.
It goes both ways, Sophie. I’ve got a job and school and a child to care for. I just moved into my own house and I’ve got bills to pay. I’m busy almost all the time. I text you when I can, but do you ever try and reach out to talk to me? As I recall, you usually wait for the other person to get ahold of you…well maybe it’s time to change that. Especially if you want to keep your ‘best’ friends in your life.
